New logo design process for Surfersmusic46

You guys know I love art and design, and I've begun working on ideas for a new surfersmusic46 logo with a modernist design and a series of posters to go along. Here's an initial sketch idea I did on my ipad the other day for the first design concept.

    I have the perfect idea Mr.K!
    What it is a musical note on a surf board(surfing a wave of course) and it is playing like a guitar or something!! I think it will work.

    I think it's very cool, but I think it could use some color and maybe a surfer.

    The other day I went to my dance class and we had to create a dance about several thing and one was surfing.But we were not allowed to act like a surfer or imitate a surfer in any way.So I took the over all concept of surfing wich is energy.So maybe instead of a surfer it could be something with lots of energy.

    I love All these Awesome Ideas!
    But I was thinking we could do something like this: IT COULD BE A SURFBOARD THAT LOOKS LIKE A PIANO AND A PICTURE OF MR.K COULD BE PLAYING IT LIKE A PRO!
